How to reduce injuries, recover, and accelerate skill development

Here’s a long form video to address questions from our 40 Plus BJJ Facebook group about skill development, injuries, training volume and intensity, and more.

One recent question in particular was representative of how a lot of our members feel (at least at some point):

Want to know after so many years of training how do you not get injured? 5 years in I literally feel beat up.
I’m 55 n go hard w these 20 year olds. Takes me a week to recover from a 2 hour rolling session.
I have tried everything from joint supplements to cortisone etc. I will give prp a shot.
Kinda depressing bc I want to train 4 or more times/ week. Advise please.
